Partners

Strategic partnerships for organizations that want to support open research through infrastructure, funding, services, training, events, or expertise.

ORN partnerships are for organizations that want to strengthen the open research ecosystem in practical ways. Partners may contribute services, infrastructure, funding, expertise, event support, training opportunities, or collaboration pathways for affiliated groups.

Partnership goals #

A good partnership should create mutual value. ORN aims to connect partner organizations with scientific communities that can benefit from their support, while helping partners contribute visibly and responsibly to open research.

Partnerships may include:

  • support for events, workshops, courses, or mentoring;
  • access to infrastructure, tools, hosting, or technical services;
  • collaboration with affiliated projects and research groups;
  • sponsorship or funding support for open research initiatives;
  • shared communication around open science and open-source work.
